Sustainable travel

There are three railway stations within walking distance of thestudio: Birmingham New Street, Snow Hill and Moor Street. New Street Station is just two minutes walk from thestudio.

🚆 Rail

Walking from New Street Station – 2 minutes

Take the North exit ‘Stephenson Street’ or ‘New Street entrance’ and head up Lower Temple street past Caffé Nero. Turn right at Starbucks and continue down New Street (Tesco on your left). Cannon Street is the second street on the left, the studio is half way along Cannon Street on the right hand side. See above for our walking video.

Walking from Birmingham Snow Hill  – 5 minutes

Exit the car park down the entrance ramp and turn left onto Livery Street. Continue to Colmore Row. At Colmore Row walk through the Cathedral park to Temple Row.  With the CBRE building in front of you take Cherry Street to the left of the building. Just after McDonalds and Greggs turn right onto Cannon Street. You will find the studio half way down the street on the left.

🚲 Bicycle

If you wish to arrive by bike, the studio can store your bike in their secure basement, just ask reception on arrival.

🚌 Bus

You can catch most of these buses directly outside Birmingham New Street station, on Smallbrook Queensway.

Other travel

🅿️ Blue badge Parking

The closest Blue Badge parking spot is on Waterloo Street which is just around the corner from Cannon Street. Visit the Birmingham City Council website for information about Blue Badge parking.

🚗 Car

As thestudio is a city centre venue, there is no onsite parking.

The closest carpark is the Birmingham Snow Hill Station Car Park, postcode B3 2BJ and Birmingham New Street Station Car Park, postcode B2 4ND.

Both car parks are around a 5 minute walk from thestudio. Follow the walking instructions in the Rail section above for directions.

🌎 International arrival

Birmingham International Airport has its own train station, Birmingham International, which operates a high-frequency service into Birmingham New Street in under 15 minutes.

If you’re travelling from Western Europe, Eurostar connects a number of European cities to London St Pancras, with direct trains from London Euston to Birmingham New Street.
